897-16 Pre-Competitive Process for a SharePoint plug-in for cloud-based intranet template design

Tender description

De Montfort University (DMU) is currently implementing a new Intranet, which aims to rationalise internal content onto a single platform for document sharing and collaboration. The project will use SharePoint Online to create a single technology platform to provide a consistent way for staff to share information internally. The project has a tight deadline of end December 2016 for the intranet to be built and all content migrated. Therefore we require SharePoint to be deployed rapidly, and for the design to be easy to replicate and personalise with minimal technical skills. The design needs to offer more user-friendliness than SharePoint out of the box, and it needs to be responsive so that users can access from different devices.
