Tender description

Lease of X-Ray Scanning Equipment. The provision of a lease agreement for 2 x X-Ray Scanning Machine Configurations (including any PCs / software etc. for operation of scanners) for 3 years from approximately 1.10.2016 with the option to extend by 2 further periods of up to 1 year at DVLA's sole discretion. The lease is also to include all support and maintenance and any consumables. The machines must be configured with identical functionality for scanning of all mail and packages received at DVLA, approximately 100 000 items per day (Monday to Friday). The machines must have zoom functionality and dual view, horizontal and vertical. The successful supplier will also be required to decommission and ethically dispose of DVLA's existing X-Ray Scanning Equipment.
