Review of the Car Parking Strategy 2011 for North East Lincolnshire

North East Lincolnshire Council has a requirement to engage external consultancy support to produce an independently assessed, review the Parking Strategy drafted in 2011. This commission is a separate piece of work to the 'Parking Development Strategy for Grimsby Town Centre', which has been completed by the Council's regeneration partner, ENGIE. This is available upon request. The purpose and aim of this separate commission is to review the Parking Strategy 2011 document alongside the policies within it including adding in any learning from the Parking Development Strategy. This will include ensuring the new strategy complies with current legislation and will be fully informed by research completed as part of the consultancy work evaluating the current parking performance of on and off street parking in the borough. The Council needs to ensure that the Revised Parking Strategy delivers a parking offer that meets local needs and economic expectations.
