PAN1001 - CBT testing for Civil Enforcement Officers

Leicester City Council’s Civil Enforcement Officers are tasked with patrolling Leicester’s streets ensuring that all temporary and permanent parking placing are compliant with the legislation covering de-criminalised parking by the issue of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) as required; and to issue Fixed Penalty Notices relating to littering and dog fouling as required. The Civil Enforcement Officers investigate and take action on a wide range of issues which includes: • Nuisance parking • Illegal parking • Issuing on-the-spot fixed penalty notices • Maintaining Pay and Display machines Every week the Authority receives calls and emails from members of the public reporting of illegal or inconsiderate parking in their communities across Leicester. Due to the large areas that the Civil Enforcement Officers have to patrol, the council have added four mopeds to the Authority’s fleet to be used by the Civil Enforcement Officers which ensures that they are able to respond quickly and more efficiently.
