Tender description
Lancashire, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Councils are statutorily required to provide public health services for children and young people and families, namely the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme, across each of their local authority areas. Commissioners wish to enter into exploratory dialogue with organisations with the appropriate expertise and relevant experience in the provision of 0-19 children and family services. This should include providers of health visiting and school nursing services, third sector organisations and other children, young people and family specific services. The primary aim of this pre-procurement event is to understand the market and the options available to commissioners in order to deliver the outcomes and effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement. We are looking for organisations to work in partnership to maximise best possible public health outcomes and improvement through innovative thinking, and bold new delivery models. Commissioners would like to invite interested providers to express their interest in participating in a market engagement event to: — Engage with commissioners to understand our challenges, intentions and desired outcomes for our services; and — Effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement and enable the potential formation of supply chains and/or consortiums. The session is appropriate to service managers, clinicians and business managers from health visiting, school nursing, infant feeding services, third sector organisations, parenting services, health improvement services and emotional health and well-being services. Please note that this is not a tender exercise and participation (or non-participation) in dialogue will confer no advantage or disadvantage when commissioners commence the formal procurement process. Spaces will be strictly limited to 2 people per organisation.
