Tender description

Help to Live at Home Approved Providers The Authority intends to establish an ‘Approved List’ of Help to Live at Home Providers. The Approved List will fulfil three objectives: • As a ‘back-up’ so the Authority can commission services from a wider range of providers in circumstances where the Authority’s Preferred Providers within a locality are unable to provide a service within the required timescale. In this scenario, the Authority will offer the service to all Approved Providers working in the City. • To enable the Authority to commission services from providers who may offer a specialist service to meet a specific Service User’s needs • To enable the Authority to commission a service from a provider under a direct contract to support specific Service User choice. The Authority will re-open the Approved Provider list on a regular basis. Keywords: Care, Health, Domiciliary, Personal
