Wind Turbine Generator T2 Coleraine campus

Tender description

The project encompasses the design, construction, supply and delivery, erection, commissioning and putting into service of a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) reference T2 at Ulster University Coleraine Campus. The scheme has received planning approval. The project will be supplied on a Design and Build basis to include the following elements:- • 800kW - 900kW Wind turbine generator unit • Wind turbine base and all associated civil and structural elements and ground works. • Access roadway, hardstand area and all temporary and permanent access requirements including temporary fencing. • Electrical works including rearrangement of the University’s high voltage electrical supply infrastructure, switchgear and cabling to facilitate connection of the WTG. • All communications installations and rearrangements required to provide remote monitoring and access to the WTG for maintenance purposes. • All metering required to qualify for the NI Renewable Obligation. • All electrical protection systems required to meet the requirements of the supply authority and to protect the wind turbine generator and University electrical infrastructure. • All safety systems to ensure safe access to and future maintenance of the wind turbine generator and all associated systems. • Grounds reinstatement.
