Tender description

Applications are hereby sought from suitably qualified organisations wishing to tender for inclusion on a Vehicle Body Repair Services Framework Agreement. Hampshire Police Authority is acting as ‘Lead Authority’ to establish a Framework Agreement for a period of 4 years with suitably experienced service providers. The Framework Contract will be available for use by Hampshire Constabulary, Dorset Police, Surrey Police, Sussex Police and Wiltshire Constabulary. Hampshire Police Authority cannot guarantee that all police forces will use the framework and any levels or volumes of business. Each police force will be required to enter into individual contracts with Vehicle Body Repair contractors in accordance with the framework terms. The police forces currently use a wide range of vehicles/models from motor manufacturers including but not limited to; Ford, Vauxhall, Volvo, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Honda, Hyundai, Audi, Skoda, Toyota, Lexus, Mitsubishi, LDV, Iveco. Organisations wishing to register their interest should only apply if they can demonstrate: Have considerable experience of vehicle body repair services. Have BSI PAS 125 Kitemark licence, or are working towards a BSI PAS 125 Kitemark licence. Alternatively have current approvals from vehicle manufacturers to carryout body repairs. Have secure premises and storage. Please Note: The Authority is not seeking expressions of interest from Management Agents or similar organisations. The Pre- Tender Qualification Questionnaires must be completed via Hampshire Constabulary’s eTendering portal no later than Friday 14 November 2008
