The Provision of a Secure Data Sanitisation and Safe Disposal of ICT Equipment

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified service provider to facilitate the secure and ethical disposal of secure data and redundant ICT equipment. Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council requires the successful organisation to collect all redundant ICT equipment from the council’s designated site(s) and then transported to the supplier’s premises. The supplier will carry out all data sanitisation including data erasure and destruction utilising industry best standard software, equipment and methods, approved by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. If the equipment is resold back into the community, the supplier must check and ensure that confidential and sensitive data cannot be retrieved or reconstructed by any known technique
