Sunderland Health Champions Sunderland City Council (the Council) has developed a community development training programme to reduce health difference from a grassroots level called ‘Sunderland Health Champions Programme’. The aim of the local programme is to up-skill and raise awareness of services to improve access and improve people’s health.
