Tender description
North Warwickshire and Hinckley College is the sponsor for The Midland Academies Trust. The Trust is a distinct legal entity, with no ownership arrangement between the 2. Within the Trust there are currently five schools (academies), all of which have a large degree of operational autonomy — Although they are not legal entities in their own right. The Nuneaton Academy under the umbrella of The Midland Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and competent provider to deliver Management of Sports Facilities from their premises in Nuneaton. The services will be provided outside of The Nuneaton Academy's core hours of operation during term time and also outside of term time and holiday periods. Aims and Objectives: — To increase and improve the quality and range of sporting and physical activity opportunities offered to students, staff and the community — To offer a range of opportunities that are inclusive and accessible — To encourage beginners to use the facilities as well as those looking to improve their skills — To maximise income potential for the Academy — To provide affordable access to the facilities. (The facilities are located in a demographic area which includes high volume of low income households). — To provide an offer that is considerate of alternatives within the local area — To maximise the use of the facilities outside of Academy operational hours i.e. evenings, weekends and holiday periods — To maximise opportunity for additional services including Children's Birthday Parties, Holiday Clubs, Summer Clubs etc. — To operate in line with any national agenda's / strategies that arise Priority given to Students and Funding Partner Obligations — To incorporate and promote offers / special offers / benefits to Students and Staff within the Trust — To build and open and honest relationship with the Trust that has clear outlined responsibilities and expectations between the parties — To appoint a pro-active contractor in sourcing funding opportunities and grants and supporting the Academy on applications and associated requirements.
