Tender description

This is an Invitation to Tender for Rochdale Council's Short Breaks Service for Children and Young People with Disabilities. Rochdale Council would like to encourage a wide range of providers and organisations, both large and small, charities, independent providers, community and social enterprises to apply. In the interests of viability, sustainability and market development, The Council is keen to develop a wide range and volume of short breaks from a variety of providers. The aim is to provide a variety of different and creative ideas for short breaks to disabled children, young people and their families aged 0-18 years of age (up until the day prior to the young person's 19th birthday). The specific types of services we are looking to commission are as follows and organisations will need to demonstrate that they can meet and deliver services of this type: — The Arts, — Therapeutic Provision, — Outdoor Activities, — Sports Sessions ( Under 8), — Sports Session ( 8 and above), — School Holiday Provision, — Youth Club, — Sibling Support. The contract duration is for 3 years and Tenderers are asked to submit bids between 5 000 GBP and 45 000 GBP per annum for each category/Lot that is applied for.
