Tender description

The BBC is seeking to establish framework agreements with systems integrators for the supply and installation of satellite communications and broadcast production equipment within satellite newsgathering (SNG) vehicles. Systems integrators' responsibilities will vary from project to project, and may include project planning, detailed design, coachwork, supply and installation of RF equipment, satellite links, baseband audio and video systems, performance and acceptance testing, support and supply of base vehicles. The BBC reserves the right to source equipment and base vehicles from alternative suppliers (i.e. other than through any framework agreements resulting from this procurement) where this represents best value for money.
