Tender description
Building on the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland and the Central Procurement Directorate’s guidance on ‘Equality of Opportunity and Sustainable Development in Public Sector Procurement’ published in May 2008, the appointed consultants will be required to develop a toolkit to encourage the full engagement of communities in the development, procurement and implementation of strategic projects and to integrate social benefit clauses in tenders and contracts in the public procurement process.
