Tender description

UK Shared Business Services Ltd as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a Contract on behalf of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). EPSRC is looking for a supplier who can provide a mid-range research facility in Ion Beam Modification and Analysis for 3 years with an option to extend to 5 years. A facility may be a single or distributed site. In the case of the latter, EPSRC expects the facility to operate as a single effective unit. The successful bidder will have a costed access plan, risk management and staff training model covering any subcontractors. The facility must be able to offer internationally leading quality for this service, clear and effective access protocols for users accessing the service, and provision in training and/or assisting new users. The facility will be an integral part of the research needs of the Engineering and Physical Sciences community.
