Reprocessing / Recycling of Materials from M&EA Household Recycling Centres

Tender description

The Council currently provides containers at the Household Recycling Centres for the public to deliver a range of waste commodities which are then recycled/reprocessed. The Council intends to deliver the following materials - cardboard, scrap metal, timber, rigid plastic, plasterboard, paper, hardcore & rubble and tyres (except paint, engine oil and vegetable oil which will be uplifted by the Service Provider see opening times below) in containers to approved recycling facilities as follows: Within a 25 mile radius of Area 1 - Waveney Road Recycling Centre, Waveney Road, Ballymena, BT43 5BA Within a 25 mile radius of Area 2 – Sullatober Recycling Centre, 10 Marshallstown Road, Carrickfergus, BT38 9DE Within a 25 mile radius of Area 3 – Redlands Recycling Centre, Harbour Highway, Larne, BT40 1AX for treatment and recycling and this tendering process is for the provision of these treatment and recycling services.
