The Council is currently responsible for a number of pumping station installations within its boundary. There is potential for the number to increase as new assets are added and to decrease where a case is made for discontinuation. The installations vary in size, type and mode of operation. The following services are a requirement of the Pumping Station Maintenance: — Mechanical; — Electrical; — Instrumentation; — Ground Care; — Emergency Response (including out of hours). The tender process will be conducted to ensure that Tender Responses are evaluated fairly to ascertain the most economically advantageous tender. In relation to this tender, the most economically advantageous tender means it will be assessed on 100 % price. For each cost criterion to be assessed, the lowest price submitted will receive the maximum score; all other bids will receive a percentage score in comparison of the lowest bid.
