Tender description

Centro wishes to procure a Rail/Road vehicle for use on the Midland Metro which runs between Wolverhampton and Birmingham City Centres. The vehicles is intended to replace an existing vehicle which is not compliant with the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR) instructions banning vehicles that do not have direct brakes to the rail wheels. The vehicle will be the sole vehicle of its type on the line and therefore will be required to carry out a range of tasks. For full details please see the tender cover letter.
