Patient Leader Training and Development Programme

Tender description

Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group wish to procure a two-year programme of training and development for our patient leaders. This programme should provide our patient leaders with the support, training and development they need to make a meaningful contribution to our engagement plans and the development of local services. The programme should also include training for our commissioners and clinicians to help them work alongside patient leaders. ORGANISATIONS MAY WISH TO QUOTE FOR PROVISION OF THE WHOLE SERVICE OR PART: 1. Introduction to the NHS and the health and social care landscape 2. Introduction to the CCG (with support from Nottingham City CCG) 3. Leadership skills 4. Equality and diversity 5. Public and patient engagement in health and social care 6. Training for CCG staff and clinicians on working with patient leaders
