Tender description

The CTR process was introduced to ensure the monitoring and review of people with learning disability, who had been inpatients in assessment and treatment settings for many years and to then plan appropriate discharge pathways. These CTRs must meet the national criteria set by NHSE and require the attendance of an Expert by Experience and a Clinical Reviewer. The CTRs were designed to bring a person centred and additional challenge to the barriers that delay potential discharge. With the inclusion of a n independent Clinical Reviewer and an expert by experience, who is a person with learning disabilities or a family carer of someone with a learning disability ,who has relevant lived experience .Currently the CCGs hold individual lists of the people who can undertake these functions and each CCG contacts and uses these individuals as required. This Request for Information is seeking to assess the interest in setting up a pan Essex CCG framework for those involved within the CTR process.
