Tender description

The NHS Business Services Authority is undertaking a tender process to establish a framework for the provision of Occupational Health Services and an Employee Assistance Programme. This is a Pan Health framework and will be open to the Department of Health, all current and any future emerging ALBs, NHS Authorities and Trusts. The framework will be split into two lots, Occupational Health Services and an Employee Assistance Programme, and suppliers can submit tenders for either one or both lots. The NHS Business Services Authority is looking to appoint a supplier who can provide a cost effective, value added, proactive Occupational Health Service and Employee Assistance Programme. It is anticipated that the framework will commence from April 2012, and will initially be open to approximately 13,000 staff based in locations across the UK. This number is expected to rise to around 18,500 during 2012/13, and may in time extend to circa 22,000 staff.
