NHS England (North) Lancashire is proposing to commission a Call Handling Service for those patients trying to access NHS dental services within the Lancashire area. NHS England (North) Lancashire wish to engage with potential providers to gather soft market testing in order to gain a better understanding of both the level of interest within the external market and information gathering from those interested organisations. Accordingly NHS England (North) Lancashire are asking the market to complete a Request for Information (RFI) in relation to the proposed procurement. NHS England Lancashire is proposing to commission a Call Handling Service for those patients trying to access NHS dental services within the Lancashire area and wish to engage with potential providers to gather soft market testing in order to gain a better understanding of both the level of interest within the external market and information gathering from those interested organisations via a Request for Information. The service specification sets out a proposed model. The purpose of this RFI is to better understand the capability and capacity of potential providers to deliver the proposed service, understand the interest of providers, aid benchmarking activities and understand if this is achievable ensuring equitable access to high-quality, safe and effective services. Potential providers are requested to complete the RFI documentation by 12:00 noon 7.6.2016.
