Notting Hill Carnival Street Trading Online Application Process Development 2016 public tender advertisement Request for Quote – December 2015 The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of Notting Hill Carnival Street Trading Online Application Process Development for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The Council (RBKC), as the Contacting Authority, intends to carry out an Open Procedure to award the contract to One Provider. One provider will be appointed for the development of an online application process for Temporary Street Trading at Notting Hill Carnival. Tenderers must be rated as not higher than average risk of financial failure. The providers appointed will deliver a online process that will streamline the application process for Notting Hill Carnival Street trading whilst improving accessibility and functionality for Traders. The Council is seeking to meet the following objectives: • Hiring a professional and cost efficient contractor to create and develop a new online application process by April 2016, with implementation for the beginning of May 2016. • Hiring a contractor who can meet the following needs: o To receive applications from new and old traders, panorama and bar sites o To allow a number of different pathways and access for different clients throughout the application period. o To produce new usernames and passwords for all of our 2015 traders o Applicant upload functionality for documents that can be reviewed/accepted/ declined and sent back to applicant if necessary o Transfer and integration of old historical details of traders from an Access database into a new database o Carnival area sitemaps visible to applicant o Automated messaging systems and reporting capabilities o List of available sites for applicant o Booking onto training and new trader site selection
