Notting Hill Carnival 2015 Toilets South public tender advertisement Invitation to Tender – March 2015 The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of toilet hire for the south of the borough at Notting Hill Carnival 2015 situated in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The Council (RBKC), as the Contacting Authority, intends to carry out an Open Procedure to award the contract to One Provider on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea at the Notting Hill Carnival 2015 event. One provider will be appointed for services at Notting Hill Carnival 2015 between Saturday 29th August – Tuesday 1st September 2015. Tenderers must be rated as not higher than average risk of financial failure. The providers appointed to the Approved List will provide Toilet Hire South to the Notting Hill Carnival 2015. The Council is seeking to meet the following objectives: • Hire, installation, removal and disposal of toilets south. • Provide a high standard of portaloo structure. • Provide staffing provision to steward toilets. • Have a clear operational plan in place to manage toilet security. Under the proposed contract of toilets (south) will be supplied to the Council under hire arrangements and therefore tenderers must include their hire terms in their submission and these must be compatible with the terms in the proposed contract. The Tender will be run electronically using the CapitalEsourcing e-Tendering system.
