NHS North Lancashire - Long Term Mental Health Care Provision Procurement

Tender description

The tender will be open to existing and prospective NHS and non-NHS providers for the commissioning of a long term mental health care provision. NHS North Lancashire aims to deliver a mental health long term care provision. The service will provided on a locality model delivered within the Lancaster area. NHS North Lancashire will be undertaking a fair, open and transparent tender exercise as part of it’s commitment to achieve access to NHS services for all those who are actively seeking it. The key objectives of the NHS North Lancashire Procurement are: To provide a supportive and therapeutic care environment for eleven service users, where they would be empowered to live their lives to the maximum potential. The service would be a able to • Ensure support is flexible and responsive to service users current care needs. • Ensure the service users have access to Advocacy Services in a timely manner • Ensure that the service user’s needs are individually identified and met with a formulated and timely care plan • Manage relapse in their illness • Meet any relevant requirements in relation to those who are currently detained under the MHA (1982) • Can allow for improved social inclusion and involvement in the community without the pressure of an intensive rehabilitation pathway.
