Tender description

NHS England Framework Agreement for Clinical Waste Services - NHS England currently fund a significant amount of the Primary Care clinical waste budget i.e. Waste produced by Pharmacies and GPs, such as drug waste. The current delivery model is fragmented given that NHS England inherited numerous contracts as part of PCT and SHA transition. NHS England is now looking to establish a national framework agreement for the collection of clinical waste from GP surgeries and community pharmacies throughout England. The intention is to consolidate the existing fragmented delivery model, which consists of approximately 100 local agreements funded by NHS England, to be delivered through this framework.
