Magee Teaching Block Ancillary Works Library Re-Cladding

Tender description

The works comprise of the re-cladding and reconfiguration of the rear external façade of the existing Magee Library building (block MM). This includes (i) minor demolitions and alterations to facilitate new façade works; (ii) the installation of new aluminum framed curtain wall system, doors, screens and windows; (iii) new cladding panels; (iv) parapet works and (v) minor elements of M&E and making good internal finishes. The existing library and all adjacent pedestrian / vehicular access routes will remain operational for the duration of the works. It is anticipated that the works / contract period will commence in July 2016 with project completion by October 2016. The successful contractor will be required to prepare a detailed programme of works.
