Tender description

The 2009 Framework Agreement for Protection of Lone Worker Services was created to develop a national lone worker alarm service to provide safety devices and services for such lone workers. The service was the first of it’s kind , with the NHS and other public bodies able to access the Framework directly via a call-off agreeement. The scope of the 2009 Framework was limited to NHS bodies, non-NHS that deliver services or goods to the NHS, local authorities, other government departments or non-departmental public bodies. There are currently over 350 individual call-off contracts under the existing Agreement with over 43,000 users. The majority of Customers are NHS bodies but other Customers include local councils, private medical groups, hospices, payment agencies and housing associations. The scope of the new Framework has now, with the agreement of the Government Procurement Service, been widened increasing the number of potential organisations who can call-off against the Framework. Further detail on this can be found in the contract notice.
