London Boroughs of Enfield, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest Procurement of Temporary Accommodation Market Engagement Event The above four councils are holding an event for interested parties to understand the new process to secure Temporary Accommodation that may shortly be trialled. Below you will see the details of the event and the schedule. The event details are as follows: Date: Friday 27th March 2015 Time: 10:30am Venue: Best Western Plus, Epping Forest, 30 Oak Hill, Woodford Green, London, IG8 9NY Link: http://www.eppingforesthotel.co.uk/ Who can attend? Any provider of temporary accommodation, whether known or not to the participating boroughs. What will it involve? The event will include presentations on the following: (1) Current issues being faced by the Housing functions (2) Scope of the proposed trial (3) New method of procurement (4) Demonstration of the system (5) Timetable for implementation There will then be a question and answer session with the panel of council officers.
