ITA Metropolitan Freight Strategy

Tender description

The West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) is looking to appoint a suitable consultant to ensure that the recently approved Freight Programme is updated and complemented by an Implementation Plan ready for the Combined Authority which will result in a stronger role within freight. The successful consultant is not required to produce a new Metropolitan Freight Strategy but rather update and amend the existing document. The Addendum is to include new issues and policies not covered within the Metropolitan Freight Strategy. It is anticipated that the Freight Strategy Update and Addendum will represent Phase One. This will need to be approved before the commencement of Phase Two which will consist of the Implementation Plan. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of 70/30 quality/price.
