The Central Procurement Directorate, on behalf of its client Invest NI, seeks tenders from organisations to deliver the Small Business Support Programme in Northern Ireland across 5 regional contract areas. The delivery of the new Small Business Support Programme, is envisaged to: •Encourage more people to engage in the start-up process •Focus advisory resources on businesses capable of achieving growth •Develop better ways to service the existing small business base This will be achieved by: •The introduction of a segmentation approach to the market (5 contract areas) •Increasing the penetration of the start-up market (at the pre-start stage) with a stronger one-to-many offer and enhanced local marketing •Focus advisory resources on impact, on VAT+ starts and growth pipeline from the existing small business base •Wider service provision via a stronger web offering with the new online diagnostic and NIBusinessinfo.co.uk. The results will be increased ‘reach’ for the new programme into the volume start market as well as improved pull through from the programme into the Invest NI growth / client portfolio.
