Immigration Removal Centres (IRCs) in England

Tender description

The Legal Services Commission (LSC) would like to invite tenders from organisations that have the experience, skills and ability to provide independent, quality assured legal advice and representation services in the Immigration and Asylum category of law at Immigration Removal Centres (IRCs) across England. We will be inviting tenders to deliver services at Onsite surgeries at Yarl’s Wood, Harmondsworth, Brook House, Campsfield, Colnbrook, Dover, Haslar, Lindholme and Tinsley House, and separately to deliver advice to fast-track clients at Yarl’s Wood and Harmondsworth. Contracts under which Immigration and Asylum services are currently delivered in IRCs will come an end on 30 September 2010. To carry out these services after that date, organisations will need to have successfully tendered for and been awarded a new contract to commence from 1 October 2010. The tender process for IRC services will open at 12 noon on 16 December 2009 and close at 12 noon on 5 February 2010. Please note, in order for tenders to be considered, interested applicants must also tender for and be awarded a contract to deliver Immigration services in locations outside of IRCs. These non-IRC services are being procured under separate Invitations to Tender, which opened on 30 November 2009 and will close at 12 noon on 28 January 2010.
