Tender description

A £6m regeneration scheme to transform Hayes Town centre by Spring 2017 is expected to achieve a much improved town centre for the people who live, work, shop and own businesses within the area. Within the context of the above mentioned regeneration scheme the London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a suitable contractor to provide a solution for Urban Tree Planting. The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a comprehensive urban tree pit system to ensure that the 50 new trees planned for planting in Hayes town centre can thrive in challenging conditions. The tree pit specification should also protect other assets within the urban environment such as neighbouring services, roads, footways, buildings and other engineered structures. The system will be used to support container grown trees (supplied and planted by another contractor), typically @20-25cm girth, supplied in 250L pots (65cm high x 70cm wide), or 350L pots (70cm high x 80cm wide). Please refer to the Specification for further information.
