Tender description
The North Essex Cluster of PCTs (North East, Mid and West Essex) are currently implementing NHS Health CHecks programme for adults aged 40 -74 in order to prevent and decrease the burden of cardiovascular disease through early detection and reduction of CVD risk through effective interventions. As part of this programme West Essex PCT are seeking to procure a service for community outreach Health Checks and an Alternative Health checks provider. Delivery of Community and Alternative Provider Health Checks Project comprising of 750 health checks in 2011-12 for population of West Essex. These checks will be offered in various community locations within the West Essex boundaries during the three months between 7th November 2011 to 10th February 2012.
