Hampshire Constabulary Catering Facilities

Tender description

(i)Hampshire Constabulary is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified organisations to cover the catering requirements of two main sites. (ii)Due to the vast difference in requirements, expressions of interest are requested from organisations that are able to satisfy the requirements of only one site, however the opportunity exists for organisations with the correct expertise to submit an interest in both site contracts. Those expressing their interest in servicing only one site shall not be considered less favourable then businesses who can meet the requirements of both. (iii)The contract for each site will be for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years, subject to the requirements of the Constabulary and the performance of the Contractor. (iv)The two sites requiring catering services are as follows: LOT 1 - Southern Support & Training Headquarters, Netley – A full restaurant style catering facility exists on the Netley site, with the current contract expiring in the Summer of 2010. Victoria House and the six out buildings accommodate approximately 800 staff with between 100 and 250 site visitors each day. LOT 2 - Southampton Police Station – Hampshire Constabulary are in the process of constructing a new building to house departments from several existing sites in one location in the city of Southampton. The new building will be both an operational police station and administration facility accommodating approximately 450 staff and Officers with approximately 50 visitors each day.
