Tender description

The BBC wishes to establish a roster of preferred Suppliers for the provision of Graphics Services. To avoid any confusion the following is a brief description of the categories of Graphics which will be covered by this tender process. 1.Titles, Promos & Branding: Definition: sequences that introduce and identify programmes and series – also including stings, idents, bumpers, and end credits 2.In Programme Content: Definition: typically used in factual programming to depict processes, concepts or explain different phenomena e.g. scientific, medical and information visualisations, maps, etc. 3.Visual Effects: Definition: mostly found in drama and docu drama. The seamless use of Graphics (VFX) which enhance the narrative – from small set extensions and blue screens through to large VFX sequences. 4. Animation: Definition: animated programmes or series encompassing both 2D and 3D work. 5.On-Air Graphics Definition: live or real time graphics typically used in news, sport, or entertainment programmes.
