Tender description

The BBC is looking for one or more providers to supply full service user experience design for the redevelopment of the BBC intranet known as Gateway. The user experience redevelopment work will be carried out in conjunction with the move to a more up to date technological underpinning and will therefore require systems integration knowledge and appreciation of best practice interactive system application design. The overall aim of the project is to ensure best practice user experience for new and existing tools and systems available to a broad and diverse audience, whilst also establishing a robust set of patterns and guidelines to inform future intranet development. Key measures of success for the user experience design upgrade of the intranet will be based on best practice accessibility, usability and user centred design principles.
