New cost is based on estimated usage over 15 months, as below. As the current approval level for 3 quotations is £100K, we have calculated that this spend level will be reached by 31st August 2017 if the current spend of £6.5K per month continues (£6.5K x 15 months in total). It is therefore proposed that approval is given to extend the current contract until 31st August 2017. Currently Driver Training school have between 70 and 90 Associate Trainers days planned between 1st April 2017 and 31st August 2017. This will equate to between £16,100 and £20,700 in expenditure. This approval, therefore, provides the Constabulary with some leeway during this extension period. TOTAL CONTRACT COST WILL BE CIRCA £97,500
