Tender description

In January 2009 DRD took the decision to merge a range of support services, including IS services, into single point delivery units. The main driver for this decision is the need to secure maximum efficiency from support services in light of NI Civil Service Reform, and to free-up resources for allocation to other business priorities within the Department. For IS services there will be a new delivery unit replacing the two existing separate delivery areas within the Department The Department now wishes to secure independent expert analysis and advice on how best to provide efficient and effective IS services through its new Information Systems Branch (ISB).
