Tender description

REFORM OF NORTHERN IRELAND PLANNING SYSTEM – STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT ON EMERGING PROPOSALS On 29th November 2007 the then Minister of the Environment, Arlene Foster MLA, announced her intention to initiate a programme of reform of the Northern Ireland planning system. A consultation paper on reform proposals is due to issue in late January / early February 2009 and will be subject to a minimum 12-week public consultation exercise. As part of the consultation process it is intended that a series of stakeholder engagement events should take place across Northern Ireland around late February – late April 2009 to facilitate structured engagement on the proposals for reform. Consultants are required to organise and facilitate these events in a manner which will allow participants the opportunity to consider and comment on the emerging proposals.
