Tender description
Road Safety Division (RSD) within the Department of the Environment (DOE) is responsible for the creation of the Northern Ireland Road Safety Strategy (RSS). The current RSS 2002-12 was published in November 2002 and established road safety objectives over a ten year period and set the following casualty reduction targets for 2012. This assignment is one of a number of research and statistical investigations into road safety in NI being carried out by RSD which are intended to inform the development of the new RSS and assist future planning.
