DOE-Development of Site Specific Monitoring Methodologies for ESCR Sites

Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) is an Executive Agency within the Department of the Environment. The Service is committed to making a significant impact towards the improvement of the environment of Northern Ireland and to playing a key role in the promotion of the principles of sustainable development/tourism. The Service has a key role in conserving and enhancing biodiversity in Northern Ireland. The aim of this project is to develop site specific monitoring methodologies for designated and future designated sites (i.e. all ESCR sites) that will allow non-specialists to undertake earth science monitoring. The objectives of this project are to: • Produce summary information packages for all ASSIs with geological features and future designated sites (ESCR sites) • Compile site monitoring report for each site which will detail how monitoring should be undertaken for geological feature(s) • Source and collate all relevant material for information packages e.g. maps, GPS/GIS data, comprehensive photographs in digital format and where necessary, annotated photographs Interested parties should visit https://e-sourcingni.bravosolution.com and register with E-Sourcing NI in order to recieve the Tender Pack and an in depth description of the requirement.
