Tender description

The Department of Education requires a service provider to examine the range of performance data which nursery, primary and post-primary schools require to inform classroom intervention and overall school planning and priorities Research and inspection evidence has confirmed that having access to good quality data and making effective use of it is a key characteristic of a successful school. In the last two Chief Inspector’s reports, the Chief Inspector has highlighted that while there is some excellent practice in relation to the use of data in NI schools, there is a continuing need for more effective monitoring and evaluation, and for making more effective use of data in school development planning and in classroom interventions.
