Tender description

The Northern Ireland Environment Agency is an executive agency of the Department of the Environment. The Built Heritage Directorate’s Historic Monuments Unit (HMU) is the part of the Agency charged with protecting and promoting sites and monuments that are in State Care or scheduled. Currently in N. Ireland about 180 monuments are in State Care, and a further 1700 or so are scheduled. HMU requires two individuals to provide services for its book and document repository, (1) one with mainly archive-related duties, and (2) one with mainly library-related duties. Details of each position and the essential qualifications for it are given below. Tenderers are invited to tender for either or both of the services.
