Construction Project at Graham Gardens - Lisburn

The Contract is for the provision of 36 social housing units comprised of 2no. 2p/1b apartments and 34no. 3p/2b apartments. Currently we are not proposing the integration of retail unit/s, however this may change on further consultation with Planners. The work includes the requirement for site development and engineering works. The contract will be for approximately 22 months from date of award and is scheduled to start by the end of March 2016. It is expected that ALL units built under this contract will achieve ‘Secured By Design’ and Lifetime Homes accreditation. The scope of the 12-16 Graham Gardens, Lisburn project is the delivery of 36 social housing units; the scale of the Graham Gardens, Lisburn project is approx. £3.1m and the complexity of the Graham Gardens, Lisburn project includes the construction of one apartment block comprising 36 residential units, and depending on discussion with Planners, possibly retail unit/s. The project includes provision of engineering services and external and site development works which achieve Secured by Design and Lifetime Homes standards. We await a further site investigation report to determine ground conditions. An asbestos survey has indicated possible asbestos in the vacant industrial building to the south of the site.
