Tender description

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is a community focused organisation that provides physical and mental health and social care with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of all our patients and their families. We provide a wide range of mental health and community services for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset. These services are provided in a range of settings/locations including inpatient hospitals and out-patient units, spread across 47 sites, containing over 100 buildings. To ensure that the physical estate and patient environments remain caring, safe and excellent, the Trust maintains an extensive buildings improvement programme as part of the annual Capital Investment Plan. The current plan for FY13 is £25m. As part of the Estates Directorate, the Capital Development Team is responsible for delivering the annual plan and to assist with the delivery of relevant projects. Experienced contractors are invited to apply for inclusion on the ‘Estates Approved Contractors List’. Interested, suitable contractors that are accredited members of the ‘Safe Contractor Health & Safety Assessment Scheme’ will be requested to complete a PQQ prior to interview for inclusion on the approved list. Those contractors on the approved list will be invited to tender or quote for projects with a construction value of up to £500k excluding VAT. The approved list will be reviewed periodically, based upon the performance of contractors against programme and budget.
