Tender description
Cumbria and Lancashire Pathology Commissioning Network, on behalf of the six Primary Care Trusts in Cumbria and Lancashire, invites Expressions of Interest from all suitably qualified, experienced and accredited healthcare providers to provide laboratory based cervical cytology screening services. The commissioning PCT, and the services sought, are as follows: To reconfigure the provision of cervical cytology screening services, to include colposcopy samples from gynaecology clinics, in Cumbria and Lancashire in line with the recommendations from the strategic review of workforce, workload and delivery of cytology services across the North West of England and the North West guidance for improvements in cervical cytology.
