British Consulate Alicante, Spain Fit Out of New Offices (Works) / Contract Ref. No. 11612 Expression of Interest for Contractors The British Consulate plan to relocate to new leased offices located on the 6th floor of a 7 storey multi-occupancy building in Alicante. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office is inviting suitably experienced contractors who can demonstrate experience in the fitting out of high class offices. As part of the pre-qualification process shortlisted contractors may be expected to be interviewed to confirm capability. The scope of works will include the following: Complete fit-out of the floor plate to include new electrical services, new fresh air installation, adaptation of the existing mechanical services. New partitions, counter units, floor finishes, decoration and suspended ceilings. Approximate floor area 250 m2. Fire safety upgrade works to all floors of the building, to include the installation of fire doors. This procurement will be contracted using the NEC3 Short-form contract.
