Tender description

South Wales Police Authority requires a Gas-safe heating contractor to keep its heating plant in a state of repair and condition which makes them fit for use for police operational and administrative purposes during the contract period. The Authority requires the contractor to be Gas-Safe registered and an accredited member of BE&S and NICEIS. All Engineers must have Gas safe, Domestic, Commercial, LPG, Catering, Combustion, Part P and Part L accreditation in order to oversee workmanship, certification and to arbitrate between the client and contractor, should there be dispute or damage to the clients property/equipment through poor workmanship. This contract covers the annual service, all maintenance (planned and reactive) and planned installations (and subsequent removal of old units) of all heating systems in the ownership of South Wales Police Authority. The Contractor is required to carry out all planned works, reactive works and inspections simultaneously at multiple sites and as such, will need to provide a sufficient and substantial sized team to ensure full 24 hour coverage of the entire South Wales Police estate.
