NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SDCCG) is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers to deliver Anticoagulation (Vitamin K Antagonist) Service in Southern Derbyshire. Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group has two provisions for Anticoagulation services due to the historical geographical legacies of the County and City PCTs. The City provision currently forms part of the main contract for Acute Services. The County provision is currently delivered through a number of GP practices and community pharmacies. The Commissioners are aware of the inequity of access to the service across Southern Derbyshire and therefore, are looking for expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers who have experience of delivering services in a community based setting, with referrals into secondary care as and when required.
